5 Ways to Connect This Summer
Do you live in the Lower Mainland area of British Columbia? If so, there aren’t many better places in the world to be! If you are looking to connect into community, we’d love to help. Here are five great ways to connect!
1. Church in the Park
One of the great things about summer in BC is getting outdoors. This August, join thousands of others at our annual Church in the Park event where we will have live music, an inspiring message, food trucks, stuff for the kids and more! Bring a blanket, some sunscreen, and you’re ready to go! (Church in the Park, Sunday, August 19, 10:00am, Bill Reid Millennium Amphitheatre, Cloverdale) Click here for more info.
2. Big Splash Family Night
Looking to cool the kids off this summer? Join us and a few hundred other families as we take over Big Splash water park in Tsawwassen this August. There will be music, games, concessions, and of course some of the best water sliding in BC! (Big Splash Family Event, Sunday, August 19, 6:00pm, Big Splash Water Park, Tsawwassen, Click here for more info.
3. Summer Youth
Whether you live in Surrey or Langley, we have lots of great stuff happening this summer for students. BBQs, music nights, volleyball, camp getaways, and more fun! Our youth groups are fun, engaging, and easy to connect with, even if you are coming for the first time. Check out our Surrey and Langley youth calendars here.
4. Authentic Living Series
We all crave authenticity, but we tend to lie to each other and even ourselves all the time. Throughout the summer, Village Church will be tackling this topic on Sunday mornings in a way that is real, and applicable to the realities of your life. We have multiple services across three Lower Mainland locations for your convenience. Click here to check out our locations and service times.
5. The Collective
If you are a young adult no longer in high school and under the age of 30 join hundreds of others just like you at one of our Collective events. The night features great music, inspiring messages that tackle topics that young adults are talking about, and lots coffee and connecting! We have two Collective dates coming up this August and we’d love to meet you there. (The Collective, August 10 and August 24, 8:30pm, 5337 180 Street, Surrey.
