John joined the Village Church ministry team in 2015 after over 31 years in the corporate world — first as an engineer in the space technology firm MDA, followed by a Vice President with Roland Corporation. Parallel to this, John was leading worship, touring, and speaking at workshops and seminars in the US, Canada, and the UK.
He is married to Dawna-Lyn, and they have two married daughters and five grandchildren.
John and Dawna-Lyn were part of the original core team of 16 that planted Village Church in 2010, so he considers it a privilege to be able to focus full-time on the mission of seeing people transformed into fully devoted followers of Jesus.
